Stony Creek Black Water Pils Packaging

When Stony Creek launched their new Black Water Pils, our design team decided to take a unique approach to creating the packaging for this “hoppy black lager”. Inspired by the mood of black water, the design team busted out the water colors and paintbrushes and began painting a black water landscape. The project was completed by layering complementary textures to create a scene for the heron to live. This created the murky, brooding night sky that now adorns the packaging and labels
